Back to School Drive 2024

The Guyanese Diaspora Charity, along with HolliCare Medical Services, and the E.D.G.E Prophetic Dance Ministries collaborated to deliver school supplies to children in several communities across Guyana. These distributions took place during August, 2024.

A total of 264 children received supplies from this collaboration. We were able to give supplies to 170 children in Mahaicony, 40 children in Bee Hive, 16 children in Veer-Den-Hoop, and 38 children in Tiger Bay. Each child received a backpack containing school supplies to start the new school year.

Special thanks are extended to Dr. Mirza I. Rahman, M.D., M.P.H., Dr. Hollina Alfred, Ms. Mandessa Ralph, Ms. Omodela Morriah, and the team. They all worked well together to make this initiative successful.
